Hi, I am Daniel Coleman and I own and operate Heritage Music Studio in Wake Forest. I am a professional guitar player and teacher. I have Bachelors Degree in Music as a Guitar major and over 25 years teaching experience.
I have learned that students are all different and have different interests. Students of all ages learn more about music if it is music they like. They will practice more if they choose the songs.
My approach is to let the students choose their songs and I teach the fundamentals of music, applied to the music. Many parents tell me that they wish they had been given a choice when they took lessons.
I remember it was tough when I learned. I treat my students with patience, praise and encouragement. I have never raised my voice to a student and never talk down to a student.
My makeup policy for absences is more lenient than any other teacher I know of. I charge less for the same quality lessons of other studios. I never charge any fees.
The total cost to start your private weekly half hour lesson in $ 105. That includes the months tuition, paid every 4 weeks in advance. Adults benefit from the hour lesson and the charge is $ 150 per month. Adults may also choose the half hour lesson. No extra charge for the parent and child in the same lesson.
I specialize in Classic rock and teach electric and acoustic guitar, piano, bass and ukelele.
I also teach Pop music,Taylor Swift, folk ,bluegrass, finger picking, and soloing.
